About the event
SEED is a peer-facilitated seminar that allows individuals to engage in structured conversations on equity and diversity. These conversations will include the sharing of personal stories and outside resources. The goal is to illuminate ways to bring justice and equity to our organizations. Through nine monthly three hour sessions, we explore, discuss, and share our experiences with aspects of identity including race, gender, class, and sexual orientation. To continue to build community, our sessions include a meal from a local restaurant that we will share together.
Participants will earn 30 hours of Professional Development credit towards certificate renewal. D219 members can also earn 219 University Credit and lane advancement.
Any NSTU member is welcome to sign up for this training which brings together members from across the local.
